Transformers with forced oil cooling systems require reliable, glandless transformer oil pumps. We offer a large range of such pumps, from which customers can choose a type that suits their specific requirements and ensures optimum operating conditions. Our oil circulation pumps are of simple, straightforward design and robust construction. Due to their compact size, the pumps can be easily integrated into the oil circuit. Four pump designs are available for different applications: Power Transformer Applications Inline and angle-type pumps with radial impellers and inline pumps with propeller-type impellers. Traction Transformer Applications Pumps with radial impellers for traction transformers in rail-mounted vehicles.

Kelvion Condensers and Gas Coolers are based upon modular designs. We offer various fan sizes, multiple speeds and suppliers, coupled with an extensive range of tube and fin profiles, to enable products to be tailored accurately to meet the application demands. The wide range of fan choices ensures that the optimal balance between air volume and capacity, operational noise levels and power consumption to meet market price levels are achieved. The tube and fins can be supplied in various materials, depending on the internal or external corrosion properties.

We optimize the total quotation process and tailor our manufacturing to fulfil your requirements. We start with the widest possible product portfolio, offered in our selection software. For decades we have been a leader in the development and manufacture of charge air coolers for combustion engines. Installed on thousands of diesel and gas engines these coolers are well known throughout the world for their excellent performance and reliability. We enjoy long-term collaboration with world-famous engine manufacturers and licensors for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. These collaborations have led to a substantial database of charge air cooler designs for different gas and diesel engine types. Our fully-welded plate heat exchangers make a convincing case due to their minimal size, outstanding thermal transfer coefficients and comparatively minimal investment costs. They are particularly robust and require only minimal cleaning and servicing. Their design advantages come into play especially in areas, in which, in addition to the output, load capacity is also a requirement.

This new addition to our product line is a compact heat exchanger made from high-alloyed stainless steel and can handle temperatures up to 550°C. Its compact and modular design makes it extremely versatile and easy to service. Our exhaust gas heat exchanger is designed to recover heat from exhaust gas produced for example by combustion engines used in combined heat and power plants. The heat exchanger transfers the heat from the exhaust gas to a liquid (water or water-glycol solutions). When heated up, this liquid can be used in central heating systems; for preheating air in the combustion chambers of furnaces and turbines; to dry coal, pulp, wood and other materials as well as for generating electricity with a Rankine process.

A Box Cooler is a vessel water cooling system. It comprises a U-tube bundle that is fitted in the sea chest on the side of a vessel, saving space in the engine room. The sea chest is equipped with inlet and outlet grids. Cooling sea water enters through the inlet grid and flows along the U-tube bundle to the outlet grid, thus cooling the water inside the tubes. The cooling effect is achieved by the forced circulation of sea water when the vessel is moving or by natural convection when it is stationary. Box coolers can be used for a wide variety of temperature-reducing duties on a vessel, from cooling the main engines, auxiliary engines and bow thrusters to air conditioning and hydraulic systems. Kelvion Box Coolers are ideal for small and medium sized vessels, including for example: tugboats, barges, fishing boats, carriers, dredgers, supply vessels, ferries, ice breakers, cargo freighters, tankers and reefers.

Closed circuit coolers are designed according to customers' requirements and assure exact compliance with their performance specifications. Our finned systems enhance heat exchange to the tube system and allow low material usage without performance loss. Tooling flexibility allows each system to be adjusted with its tube banks side by side or on top of each other, offers options of meeting extreme customer demands. Our many offical approvals and certifications allow us to design and manufacture closed circuit coolers for many and various applications.

Our range of transformer oil air coolers for forced oil cooling systems can be supplied in different mounting variants. The standard air cooler version is designed for direct mounting on the transformer tank. In addition, our range of products comprises free-standing transformer oil coolers designed to customer specifications. Transformer oil air coolers are available in different design versions.
