The company was founded in 1968 at its current location in Weiterstadt near Darmstadt. At that time, it was the world's first specialized company for the production of innovative, environmentally friendly compensators. Just a few years later, the company opened representations abroad. The company has always placed value on innovative developments. KOREMA® was the first company to manufacture completely asbestos-free compensators. Numerous national and international patents followed. The trend is clearly moving in one direction: the composite materials used should become even more environmentally friendly. Here, KOREMA® is once again pioneering with SIMIFLON and ELTROFLON compensators. Today, the company stands for environmentally friendly products with outstanding quality and durability. KOREMA® compensators connect various pipelines. They differ based on the consistency of the medium flowing through. It can be gaseous, moist, wet, or a condensate. The concentrations of the media also vary: whether dust-laden, acid-laden, solvent-laden, explosion-prone, solid-laden, or condensate-laden – KOREMA® compensators are manufactured to suit every application. The flexible connections accommodate movements of the pipelines in all dimensions: - Axial compression and extension - Lateral offset - Torsion In this way, KOREMA® soft compensators connect pipelines and decouple them acoustically and thermally.
