The Dutch Lesjöfors company Tribelt specializes in developing and manufacturing metal conveyor belts. We have over 150 years spring manufacturing experience, and today produce the world’s largest range of coil springs for the automotive aftermarket. In addition to replacement coil springs, we also stock market leading ranges of Gas, Leaf and Sport springs.

Typical areas of use for hydraulic gas spring are controlled opening and closing of hatches and hoods. The gas springs can also be adapted to control complete equipment such as ventilation apertures, chairs, beds, windows, tools and machinery.

Traction gas springs differ from conventional gas springs in that they operate in the pull direction rather than pushing out with force. In the unloaded state, the spring is compressed with the piston rod inside the cylinder.

Lockable gas springs are commonly used in applications requiring the ability to lock out the stroke in a desired position without the need for external locking mechanisms. This is achieved by a unique piston design that separates the gas and oil chambers of the spring

Dynamically dampened gas springs are commonly used in applications that do not allow the piston rod to be facing downward in the open position, while maintaining the ability for soft and controlled damping.

Stainless steel gas springs function the same as their common hydraulic counterparts, but give an alternative when operating under rough conditions such as off-shore and other outdoor exposure applications. Other commons application areas for stainless steel gas spring include health care products, food industry and medical devices.
