The magnetic field of the pulley attracts the ferrous fines which are held to the belt until it reaches the underside. The separated ferrous materials pass out of the the magnetic field and are collected separately into a chute or bin. The cleaned material is discharged normally over the pulley in a vertical drop. The magnetic conveyor head pulleys are available in various sizes to meet requirements of most conveyor system applications. Applications: Waste recovery Feed & grain Mining Recycling applications

Cost effective fluid clarification for removing ferrous material. Remove ferrous material, including sludge and chips, from both water soluble and neat oils with high intensity ferrite or rare earth magnets. Typical applications include centerless and heavy stock removal grinding machines, honing, and gear cutting machinery. PRAB’s line of magnetic separators employ high-intensity ferrite or rare earth magnets within a fully energized rotating drum to continuously remove ferrous particles from the flow of liquid. These systems are often used as a pre-filter to limit contaminants reaching subsequent filtration equipment. Magnetic separators are well suited to processes where ferrous and non-ferrous contaminants are mixed with water-based coolants or straight cutting oils. They can also be used to enhance chip processing tasks and help you get the most out of your industrial filtration equipment

Chain Magnetic Separator are used for the cleaning of liquids contaminated with magnetizable solid particles and foreign oils. F.E.S. separator systems can be used in full-flow or bypass cleaning applications. The separation performance varies depending on the level of contamination and the volume flow rate. Note: The separator systems can be supplied via a separate supply pump, existing system pumps (with sufficient reserve capacity within the existing system components), or a free inlet (with sufficient geodetic height difference). Advantages: No filter aids required High separation efficiency Large throughput capacity Large active separation surface due to favorable separation geometry and optimal arrangement of magnets Low wear and tear Operating Principle: The contaminated liquid is supplied to the separator through the flange (1) located at the bottom.
