MainTech Systems is a medium-sized company based at a location steeped in tradition in the heart of Europe, in the Bavarian part of the international economic area of Rhine-Main. With more than 200 engineers, technicians, experts and qualified technical specialists, as well as a production area measuring 12, 000 m², we combine expertise and productivity into one efficient whole. Our industrial site is a testament to a tradition that stretches back decades: The site was founded in 1924 as a production facility for textile viscose for the company Vereinigte Glanzstoff-Werke AG. The manufacture of technical viscose began in 1938; this was used primarily in high-speed car tyres. In the 1950s, fibre production was expanded to include synthetic fibres such as polyester and polyamide. Since the 1970s, the site has been growing to become the most important European production site of high-quality yarns for technical applications.
