The RECOVIB® industrial accelerometers bridge the gap between the performance of laboratory accelerometers (which are often expensive, fragile and offer low protection) and the robustness of industrial accelerometers (which are sometimes cheaper but often noisy and inaccurate). Our accelerometers can be deployed in industrial environments for monitoring machinery or structures. The RECOVIB® accelerometers are of proven design and the majority of the models available are widely used in a variety of fields, such as the machine tools, precision machining and on-shore and off-shore wind energy sectors in monitoring or active vibration control applications. INTERNAL SIGNAL CONDITIONING The signals from the vibration sensor are amplified and conditioned by the accelerometer unit itself before being passed to the data acquisition system through a disturbed industrial medium. Our accelerometers are equipped either with a voltage output or a 4-20 mA current output.

The Structural Health Sensors combine a 2-axis accelerometer with a temperature sensor. Their enhanced internal surge protection and electromagnetic interference immunity make them particularly suitable for the permanent monitoring of outdoor tall structures. The Structural Health Sensors can perform measurements in extreme conditions ranging from -40°C to +85°C. They are of course dust and watertight to IP66. RECOVIB Feel has been designed for performing an immediate vibratory analysis. It is connected to an Android device or tablet PC via a USB connection. The supplied application enables the streaming of real-time vibration data on a chart in the time domain and in the frequency domain. While streaming, it is possible to record vibration data in order to replay it in a data viewer, on your smartphone or your PC. Our innovative measurement system allows for vibration measurements to be taken of whole-body vibration exposure according to ISO 2631. Its autonomous sensors that do not need to be wired during measurements and automated artefact detection provide for a user-friendly implementation and use (can be used by non-experts). Stored data is downloaded from the sensor(s) at the end of the working period to a smartphone or a PC using a Bluetooth connection. The software allows for the automatic computation and display of workers’ exposure to whole-body vibrations and indicates how such exposure compares with the limit and action values defined in the vibration Directive. The set of whole-body vibration meters (Vib@Work Seat, Vib@Work Floor & Vib@Work Detect) can measure the vibration exposure of either seated or standing operators.
