The miniature roller slides can be delivered either as open type or with end plates. The exterior part is made of aluminium, the interior part consists of hardened steel. With standard drilling pattern.

The V shape of the shaft support is the result of purposeful internal development work at Föhrenbach. The most important advantage comes from having the greatest possible distance between the shafts and above all in the lay-out of the four ball-bearing housings whose loadbearing rows of balls are located underneath the shaft. The unitized, modular type like design realized with these devices enables to cover a wide range of application specific solutions. Manufactured in standard widths from 75 to 425 mm and in lenghts of up to 4000 mm, the products are designed to provide solutions that allow to cover almost all handling and mounting tasks that need to be met. An experience of long standing assures for competent solutions.

The highest accuracy class “Ultra-Precision plus” impresses with an accuracy of 0.0005 mm, thus 0.5 µm. Due to the fact that the control unit of the Föhrenbach slides is compatible with the interfaces of almost all measuring systems, this extraordinary repeatability does not depend on a particular system or a specific provider. Föhrenbach profiled guide slides with integrated linear motor are available in the series PFL (with bellows covers) and PCL (with sheet metal covers). For both series three sizes are available. We developed three resp. two linear motors of different force.

This guiding system makes it possible to accurately position your products. Furthermore, you can fix it exactly at the desired place. The innovation lies in the backlash-free clamping, horizontal and vertical side misalignment ≤ 3 μm. Useful advantages: compact sizes and the possibility of adjusting and locking the guide by a hex screwdriver. Clamps permit a fast combination to 2 axis systems and/or 3 axis systems or the fitting of axis systems on a base plate.
