The wine remains for a year and a half in 225l oak barrels, and spends the same amount of time in the bottle as it is further refined before it is offered to the market. The Paretaio Rosso Toscano IGT produced in the province of Siena by Casale Falchini refines well in glass even for 8 or 10 years. It stands out for its deep ruby red color, tending to garnet, as well as for its clean scent of ripe morello cherry and prune.
