Novelis aluminum sheets arrive with protective film in place on delivery, and they can be processed easily for perfect edges and flawless corners. In addition, we test the surface and substance of all our products to conform to the highest international quality standards. Novelis offers two corrosion-resistant alloys of tension-free aluminum sheeting, including the hard-wearing AIMg3 alloy, to simplify reinforcement and reduce substructure costs. This stability makes it a superior choice for plastic or composite sheeting. It also means it can be recycled completely at the end of the product’s life for the current market value of the metal.

Light, durable and corrosion-resistant, pre-painted aluminum sheeting products make an ideal base for aluminum license plate manufacturing for cars. Benefits include minimum burr on edges thanks to superior processing, corrosion resistance ensured by a specialized coating on the reverse side and versatile delivery options from coils and sheets to cut blanks and ready-made license plates, which include rounded corners, embossed edges and a painted finish. The alloy and coating are specifically adapted for government requirements and are delivered in accordance with local regulations. Consistency is also ensured with excellent quality controls and compliance with all regulatory bodies, including EN, DIN, ASTM, BS and ECCA. Lastly, aluminum license plate products provide excellent adhesion qualities for reflective film and other applications thanks to a clean, grease-free surface. Choices include top-coating or pretreatment options, or double-coated for non-reflective plates.

To be effective, aluminum traffic signs and aluminum road signs must be reflective and easy to read day or night, and they must meet stringent government specifications. The alloy and coating of Novelis pre-painted aluminum meets all the precise requirements for durability and readability, with no additional pre-treatment required. The front surface of these aluminum signs are coated with a clear lacquer ideal for reflective-film applications. Manufacturers of these films and elements have tested and confirmed the excellent adhesion qualities. The reverse is delivered painted in gray according to national regulations. On request, it can be pretreated, primed and laminated with a protective film for excellent weather resistance. Novelis continues to improve the workability of its pre-painted aluminum, as well as its compatibility with reflective films, attachment elements and other features.

OHLER offers a wide range of aluminum foil trays. All materials have been developed to be filled both manually and automatically. They are available in various sizes and thicknesses, and the trays can even be lacquered or printed. Novelis is a preferred source of converter foil for global players in the flexible aluminum packaging industry, where it is then subjected to further processing, including laminating, extrusion, lacquering and printing, embossing and cutting. The versatility and flexibility of the products enable our customers to create a diverse range of packaging solutions, finding end applications across diverse industries such as food – including butter packaging and cheese packaging – pharmaceuticals, wraps, bottle capsules, laminated tubes, pouches and more.

Novelis’ fracture-proof, seamless aluminum bottles offer needed protection when transporting and storing sensitive and critical goods. Novelis produces aluminum bottles for a range of applications — from commercial use to United Nations-approved packaging — in several coating configurations and sizes with fill capacities ranging from 38 ml to 6250 ml. These bottles include rolled thread for screw stoppers, tamper-proof seal and screw closure, plastic screw closure and locking ring, plastic threaded ring for pilfer-proof closure and flex-spout closure system.

When it comes to creating the caps and closures our customers want, Novelis aluminum sheet and coil provide two distinct benefits – shape and appearance. Since aluminum packaging is strong but easily shaped, Novelis is able to produce innovative, customized shapes for caps and closures, as well as threading to make the aluminum containers resealable. These products can also be treated with a range of advanced decorative technologies including lithography, hot-foil and positive and negative embossing.

Aluminum cartridges protect the sealing compound with a diaphragm and seamed lid to prevent leakage, ensuring a long shelf life and preventing the contents from drying out. The two-component integrated system is suitable for fast-curing fillings and easily used with existing guns on the market while offering a variety of static mixer nozzles. Cartridges can be printed with customized art in up to six colors and have lacquer applied to the inside surfaces. Products include cartridges and a two-component integrated system.
