PEI Sheet

BIEGLO is the official distributor of Saint Gobain Performance Plastics for the Meldin 7000, Polyimide sheets. Polyimide sheets are available in the standard size 305mm x 305mm and a thickness of 1.6mm up to 50.8mm. In line with different requirements of the industrial market, the Meldin product family can provide high temperature resistance, wide chemical resistance, good mechanical properties also at elevated temperatures and low wear, long lifetime. Polyimide sheet can be used in temperatures up to 350°C continuously and it has various applications in the automotive, aerospace and electronic industries.

The Dexnyl PEEK sheet from BIEGLO offers a temperature resistance of up to 240 ° C, as well as resistance to radiation and chemical substances. Sheets from PEEK are usually extruded and cut in standard lenths. BIEGLO can offer PEEK sheets with a thickness of 10mm to 50mm with a standard width of 625mm or 610mm. The standard lengths are 1000mm, 2000mm or 3000mm. Our PEEK sheets are also available as compounded PEEK. The typical applications of PEEK sheet are sealings in high thickness and large diameter. Technical parts that are cut out of the sheet by a jet of water. PEEK Sheets bring the advantage to cut out round pieces of several diametres.

BIEGLO offers PAI sheets from different PAI types, Torlon® 4203; 4301; 4275; 4435; 4645; 5030 (30% GF); 7130 (30% CF), where each type is best suitable for a specific application. The unique performance of polyamide-imide (PAI) is the result of being transformed from a thermoplastic to a cross-linked thermoset during an extended curing process. Our PAI is processed by experienced engineers and offeres the best possible values a PAI product can have and it is suitable for many applications, such as gears, rollers, plasma chamber hardware and wafer contact fixtures.

Polyetherimide has recently joined the BIEGLO portfolio. Our sales portfolio for PEI contains rods and sheets from 8mm to 100mm diameter. As well as, PEI thin films below 1mm thickness. The maximum width is 1200mm for sheets and film. Polyetherimide is an amorphous thermoplastic and part of the polyimide family. It has excellent dimensional accuracy over a wide temperature range and has low thermal expansion. PEI is naturally flame retardant and has a fire rating of UL94 V-0. The most common applications of PEI are in the food and beverage industry, pharmaceutical and electronics industry as well as precision engineering.
