The good chemical resistance of PP allows acids, alkalis and aggressive detergents to be transferred. The low-mounted non-return valve of the barrel pump and the immersion depth that can be steplessly adjusted using the barrel screw joints ensure good removal of residual liquid. The barrel screw joint fastens the barrel's pump securely to the barrel. Barrel screw joints and thread adapters for commercially available containers are available as optional accessories.

Pouring flammable liquids All medium-contacting parts are made of stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301) and PTFE. The Bürkle anti-static set can be used to ground the pump for dispensing flammable liquids so that no electrostatic charge forms. Due to the high chemical resistance of the medium-contacting parts made of PTFE and FEP, even liquids which attack conventional materials such as PP or PVC can now be safely transferred (except for elemental fluorine) with this barrel pump. The barrel pump is also suitable for transferring ultra-pure liquids. The stopcock prevents hazardous vapours from escaping, and stops dripping after transfer.
