ID cards differ from standard PVC cards. ID cards are usually equipped with personal data and a photo of the cardholder. High quality ID cards are made from Ploycarbonat to guarantee highest stability and life. Besides the optical personalization the ID card can also contain a RFID- or contactchip. The RFID chip has a unique serial number (UID), the encoding defines the cardholder and makes duplicates or forgery almost impossible. Prepaid Phone cards display the issuing company and have a Code that activates the credit amount. This code is protected by a scratch-off label. As these cards are used only singularly they canbe printed on Thin plastic material e.g. PET. Also cardboard is a common used material.
