Riga Prime FR Birch plywood ( Riga Ply, BB) overlaid with a fire retardant primer on one or both faces, thus decreasing fire reaction. Plywood is less combustible and it is harder to burn. Fire retardant properties are on primed sides only. Fire classes In accordance with the standard EN 13501 Riga Prime FR meets requirements of fire classes: B-s1 d0 Bfl-s1 Application Anywhere where high fire safety is required. Recommended for indoor use as subflooring, ceilings, and partition walls in rooms with low humidity, for example, conference rooms, theatres, cinemas, exhibition halls and retaurants. Not recommended for outdoor use, for rooms with high humidity, in direct sunlight and subject to heavy mechanical load. Advantages Significantly slows down flame spread, reduces heat and smoke development, and ensures extra evacuation time in the event of fire. Riga Prime FR can be painted and glued. Finishing material can affect conformity to the fire class. The primer does not affect plywood physical-mechanical properties.
