Polyimide Powder

BIEGLO can offer PEEK powders in various viscosities. It can be used for a variety of applications: semi-finished product extrusion, injection molding, compounding, filament and film extrusion, coatings. Our CoPEEK 012P is a high viscous, unreinforced PEEK for extrusion and injection molding, thus it is the standard type for the production of semi-finished products. CoPEEK 021P is medium viscous, unreinforced PEEK for injection molding. But it can also be extruded for the production of films and filaments. CoPEEK 085P is low viscous, unreinforced PEEK for the extrusion of films and filaments. It is also used as the basis for compounds and composites. Our CoPEEK can be processed on machines for thermoplastics without any problems. We recommend a processing temperature of 360 °C to 380 °C. BIEGLO CoPEEK is ISO 10993 certified for medical applications and also has FDA certification.

BIEGLO offers finished or semi-finished parts directly formed from polyimide powder with all the attributes of sintered PI. The advantage of direct formed parts are the lower costs as quantitiy is increasing. Due to almost zero percent waste during production it can be a more economic production method. Machined parts are widely used for small series high precision applications. Polyimide direct formed parts can be used in different applications: Automotive industry: racing engine fuel line. Jet engine: vane bushing or lock nut insert. Industrial machinery: hotrunner systems nozzles or plasma cutting torch as gas distributers or sealing components. Semicon HDPCVD Equipment: e.g. heater coil spacer. Life sciences: rotor seal or pneumatic surgical tool vane.

BIEGLO is the official distributor of Saint Gobain Performance Plastics for the Meldin 7000, Polyimide sheets. Polyimide sheets are available in the standard size 305mm x 305mm and a thickness of 1.6mm up to 50.8mm. In line with different requirements of the industrial market, the Meldin product family can provide high temperature resistance, wide chemical resistance, good mechanical properties also at elevated temperatures and low wear, long lifetime. Polyimide sheet can be used in temperatures up to 350°C continuously and it has various applications in the automotive, aerospace and electronic industries.

The Dexnyl PEEK shrink tube provides a protective layer for sensitive or critical components as an alternative to traditional materials. PEEK shrink tubes are particularly effective in environments where extreme heat or cold, high pressure, or chemicals, water, or dielectric interference endangers wires and electrical components. BIEGLO can offer PEEK shrink tubing with a diameter of 0.965mm to 9.957mm. PEEK is a thermoplastic polymer that is commonly used instead of metal or other types of plastics. PEEK has a temperature resistance of up to 240 ° C and a special resistance to chemicals.
