It is our standard to realise each and every job with absolute perfection. For this reason, we perform a final quality check. Even in the case of regularly recurring orders, the correct standard is of course always retested. Each order includes the necessary accompanying documents along with the cylinder. These documents detail the individual processing steps and important operations. On request we will provide you a log of the work performed. The quality check entails the following steps: Inspection of the embossing using a sample from the cylinder Determination of the profile depth: Depth of the grid and the width of the web are measured with the latest technology. Final inspection of the cylinder for true-running and intact surface Proof: Print result of the cylinder is inspected on the proof press.

The sampling set SteriPlast® Kit consists of ten sample spatulas or ten sample scoops and ten SteriBag Premium tamper-proof sample bags. Thus the SteriPlast® Kit is the ideal combination for sampling where purity and sterility is essential. All parts are sterilised by gamma rays and suitable for use with foodstuffs. The scoops or spatulas are clean room manufactured and individually packed. The sample bag SteriBag Premium has an integrated sealing and is liquid-tight. A unique tracking code on both the bag and the tear-off field guarantees complete documentation and traceability. SteriPlast® Kit including scoop 50 ml or spatula 150 mm insertion depth, and SteriBag Premium 300 ml.

The intrinsic quality of the various components, sub-assemblies and software is checked at each stage of design and manufacturing. During the pre-validation phases, performance, durability, and efficiency goals are meticulously assessed and cross-checked with the obligations defined in the specifications. These efficiency targets are cross-referenced and verified with our customer upon commissioning of the equipment, following the implementation of a duly developed validation protocol.

Particular Challenges of the Application: By tactile equipment, determination of the deepest point on a rough metal surface is neither simple or precise. As a consequence, often either too much material is removed, or the surface is still covered with defects which have to be eliminated by a following milling cycle. The equipment is arranged in parallel, so that the complete width of the slabs is covered. The sensors are calibrated to a common coordinate system and mounted on a movable gantry. Before measurement, the slabs are fixed in place. The scanners mounted on the gantry are guided over the measuring object, driven by an electric motor. The point cloud recorded by the four scanners is consolidated in a PC by means of the QuellTech image processing software which calculates the difference between highest and lowest point of the corresponding surface and compensates for possible inclination of the slab (detrending).
