Our partner sorting facilities in Europe handle the re-categorizing of the original goods which had already been pre-separated into textiles and shoes at our venue. Sorting is done by hand and a well-trained eye. Up to 200 criteria decide on the further disposal of used textiles. Approximately 60% of the collected goods can be reused as wearable clothing, the remainder is sent to textile processing. Manual sorting represents the best of all available procedures because each item of clothing is inspected and selected by trained personnel. This method also provides many valuable jobs.
