Radial Fans

As a result of using fans in entire systems, Scheuch COMPONENTS has acquired a wealth of experience with specific requirements in a wide range of sectors and industries. For example, hot gas radial fans for high temperatures or double flow radial fans for large volumetric flows. For systems that need to be cleaned more frequently, SwingOut & PullOut radial-fans can be used.

Radial scanning machine is used to separate low density substances from high density grain products such as wheat, barley, corn and similar. Separates foreign substances such as dust, sand and small seeds in wheat. Wheat entering the machine from the wheat inlet is filled into the vibro feeder and distributed smoothly across the width of the air duct. Here, in the horizontal aspiration channel, the product is separated from low density materials through its double adjustable wall. The fan of the radial scanning machine is mounted on the main body through bearings. The outer body is made of sheet metal, and the foot part and the outlet nozzle located on the foot part are mounted on the body.

In the fluid dynamics laboratory of our Wasserburg competence centre, we design new fan wheels and turbines and optimise existing systems for performance, energy efficiency and noise emissions. We also develop complete systems of wheels with power units. Our range of tests includes suction operation, pressure operation and also unpressurised measurements. Revolutions up to 40,000 r/min and diameters of up to 250mm are possible. In our prototype department, we are able to simulate or modify the environmental circumstances of the fan wheels or turbines, thus achieving optimal operational conditions. Furthermore, we carry out mould-flow analysis, use ANSYS from external partners for the flow simulation and establish the fault probability and fault effect with FPFEs.
