Description
IKO Roller Bearings are heavy duty bearings with rollers incorporated in a double row. They are nonseparable bearings with a high load rating. They can withstand not only radial loads but axial loads as well, which are supported at the contacts between the shoulders of the inner and outer rings and the end faces of the rollers. They should be used at the fixing side of a shaft. Like needle roller bearings, they are also compact. Roller bearing types include caged, full complement and the type for sheaves, and they can be selected based on the operating conditions. These bearings are used in heavyduty machinery such as construction equipment, and industrial machines.

These bearings are doublerow, full complement with a low cross sectional height designed for use in sheaves. There are two types, sealed and shield type. They can withstand heavy radial loads and shock loads at comparatively lowspeed rotations, and can also withstand axial loads. It is easy to fix them axially to sheaves using the stop rings of the outer ring. The width of the inner ring is designed to be larger than that of the outer ring, so they require no spacer between sheaves. The structure is stable because the doublerow of rollers can withstand the moment loads caused by rope transition. The surfaces of these bearings are also treated to provide high corrosion resistance.

These bearings are designed for outer ring rotation and provide superior rotational performance, a low coefficient of friction and high load capacity. In order to effectively increase the loading zone, this bearing is designed to have a smaller radial clearance than general needle roller bearings, so the shock load is lessened and stable long life can be obtained.
