OPTICAL COMPOSITE CABLES
Description
Self-supporting protected composite wire with a conductor made of aluminum alloy, with a central strength member made of FRP rod in PE sheath (or without it); around it are stranded tubes containing up to 24 optical fi bers each and (if necessary) fi lling dummy tubes; outer sheath made of light-stabilized cross-linked PE. The wire is designed for suspension and service on supports of aerial power lines for rated voltage of 20 and 35 kV in atmosphere of types I, II and III in climatic version B according to Russian National Standard GOST 15150-69, in atmosphere over sea and salt lake shores, in industrial zones, and saline lands. Operational temperature of the cable is from -60°С to 70° С. Minimum temperature for installation is -30°С.
