Description

This pasta is made of wholegrain spelt wheat flour. Spelt is one of the oldest grain crops. It was known as early as the Stone Age and is even mentioned in the Bible. Unlike other varieties of wheat, spelt wheat grain is coated with scales, which protect it from disease and pests. Spelt grains contain nearly all the nutrients and vitamins required for varied nutrition. The nutrients present in spelt wheat grains are easily dissolved and therefore well absorbed by the body. The gluten structure of spelt wheat grains is different than other sorts of wheat. Spelt wheat flour can be made only from carefully selected, healthy high quality grains. Spelt wheat grains cultivated by selected reliable Lithuanian farmers are used to make wholegrain spelt flour. Wholegrain spelt flour has an exceptional coarseness and lightness with clearly detectable and visible fine spelt wheat brans. Spelt flour has a yellowish-white colour due to the presence of all parts of the spelt grain.
