Description

Like silicone rubber, which is often used for gaskets and seals, silicone sponge has an excellent ability to bear high temperatures that would otherwise cause a material to contract and expand. Our product has a significant threshold of thermal stability, withstanding temperatures from -50°C to 250°C, combined with a low compression set of less than 15%, resistance to all kinds of weathering, and a noticeably lower price, and it’s exactly for that reason that it sees an ideal use within industrial applications. We are able to manufacture in any of our grades, offering a bespoke service alongside four standard grades that are likely to cover what you need, including a special grade with the highest possible resistance to continual heat. All of our products come with the option of being Fire Safe to a grade of UL94-V0, and silicone sponge gaskets are no exception.
