Amytis – the Persian wife of the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar II – often longed for the gentle rolling hills and forests of her homeland. Legend has it that, as a loyal husband, Nebuchadnezzar had the Hanging Gardens of Babylon built. These are now one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This chandelier has been named Amytis after the Babylonian princess and in reference to this tale. It features softly curved floral details featuring Swarovski elements, and is reminiscent of wonderful gardens and blossoming nature. Amytis is a chandelier from the Schonbek company, which is synonymous for exclusive and glamorous crystal chandeliers.
