Learn how to efficiently manage and monitor your measuring and testing equipment. In this training course, you will learn the basics of measuring and test equipment management, the requirements for calibration and documentation. The training is aimed at all those who are responsible for or interested in measuring and testing equipment. Topics of the training course: Measuring and testing equipment management as a pillar of quality assurance; Measuring and test equipment management as part of the quality management system – test equipment officer; Suitability of devices and sensors as measuring and testing equipment; Traceability and calibration; Documentation and employee training; Monitoring and maintenance of the measuring equipment database.

In this training course, you will learn about different measurement methods that you can use for your measurement tasks. You will learn how to select and apply the appropriate measurement method. You will get an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of different measurement methods, such as optical, acoustic, or electrical methods. The training is aimed at anyone involved in measurements, e.g. engineers, technicians, quality managers or scientists. The training lasts one day and covers the following topics: Measuring principles and application examples; Optical, electrical, thermal, mechanical, ... measurement; From measurands to measurement data; Structuring the test task; Documentation.

Learn how to calculate and interpret the measurement uncertainty of your measurement results. In this training, you will learn the basics of measurement uncertainty analysis, how to apply the GUM method, how to create measurement uncertainty budgets, and what makes ASME PTC19.1 different from GUM. You will learn how to determine measurement uncertainty budgets and how to use them to efficiently optimize the measurement uncertainty of measurement setups. In the training, we focus on: Mathematical Fundamentals; Definitions and terms; Application of the GUM method; Creation of measurement uncertainty budgets; Calculation of measurement uncertainty; Analysis and critical appraisal. You can design the training according to your wishes! Holding a workshop in which you actively contribute your problems has also proven to be a good idea. We design this training according to your wishes: For newcomers, we offer basic seminars on dynamic data acquisition. It doesn't matter whether you already have a measuring system or want to procure one first. We explain the basics of the most common sensors used in dynamic measurement technology, explain the general functionality of dynamic measuring systems and show, using the example of HGL hardware and software, how a dynamic measurement task can be prepared, carried out and evaluated. If you already have measurement technology from HGL, we offer you further courses to further deepen and optimize the handling of hardware and software. Here we focus entirely on your needs. We can provide an in-depth overview of the various hardware or software components or concentrate on individual aspects and deepen them.
