The CSN® HECT, HEVT and HECT/VT by Schniewindt combines proven sensor technology and opticaldigital data transfer according to the standard IEC 6185092, creating a future orientated solution for applications in high voltage AC substations. The required values to be measured are recorded in analog signal form by conventional sensor elements (R/C high voltage divider for voltage measurement and Rogowski coil for current measurement) on HVline potential and transferred to the RemoteDataModule (RDM) mounted in the head construction of the instrument transformer. The RDM converts the recorded data into a digital serial protocol and transmits them via optical fiber to the Merging Unit (MU), located in the control room. The distance between instrument transformer and MU can be up to 1 km. The MU transfers the data protocol of three instrument transformers into the protocol according to IEC 6185092. The compact transformer substations provide connections between industrial or residential consumers and the medium voltage network. Electroalfa produces prefab transformation stations of the MT/JT type Alfa Power, in a varied range of types and sizes, in standard production, but also derived products, adapted to the required application.To meet the market’s demands we design compact transformer prefabricated substations with concrete or metal enclosures with standard ranges from 160kVA to 1600 kVA (upon request, up to 2500KVA) with indoor or outdoor access.

Substations are transformer or distribution centers made of sheet steel in desired dimensions. They are suitable for use of all types of MV switchgears and LV panels. They are manufactured in the requirement number of sections and doors according to the project design. Strong construction made of sheet steel and profiles is painted with electrostatic powder paint or liquid paint for high corrosion resistance. In order to prevent the strong solar radiation in hot summer, the shell can be equipped with heat insulation material with low thermal conductivity, the most used fillers are: rock wool board, polystyrene foam, etc. Modular design in requested depth, width and length, in average 4 times lighter than a concrete version along with easy transport and commissioning are just some of the advantages of this solution.
