Description

GarnTec waterblocking nonwoven react within seconds in case of an ingress of water! The waterblocking nonwoven by GarnTec are particularly suitable in order to achieve the required longitudinal water tightness of buried power cables, telecommunication cables, signal cables, long distance telecommunication cables and special cables. In case of an ingress of water cuased by damage to the cable sheat, our waterblocking nonwoven are reacting within seconds by forming a sealing gel material which locks the surronding cavities. Semi-Conductive waterblocking nonwoven furthermore secure the consistent electrical contact and a sufficent padding between the wire shielding and the external conductive layer.
