Size and quantity of the welding joints depend on the substructure and must be defined on site. Please note that the perforated metal sheet can under no circumstances take over any static functions. The secutex forkshank protection is a special design with a hollow profile and foam insert. For example, it is suited to the transport of delicate drums on EURpallets. The colliding of the drums is absorbed through the flexible foam padding, whilst the impact of the pallet is absorbed through the sturdy hollowprofile design. Usages include, for example, transport in the chemical or glass industries. The forkshank protection is attached to the fork shanks via steel bands and is thus easily exchangeable.

Sometimes, the load rests upon the shank of the fork during transport. In these cases, transported goods and the fork shank must be protected from damage. secutex forkshank protection with foam padding is designed for careful load transportation. The degree of compression of the foam is dependent upon the collision. The foam reforms after the stress has subsided. Usages include, e.g. transport of sensitive dry walls, roofing tiles, etc. The forkshank can be fastened with a steel belt to the back of the fork and can be easily exchanged.
