Alumina Ceramic Heaters are produced by implementing unique metallization and ceramic lamination processes. Due to the advanced manufacturing techniques utilized in the electric element, Alumina Heaters can provide higher reliability than ever before. Currently, applications include use as innovative types of heaters in the automotive, medical and semiconductor industries.

In its function as temperature simulator the decade offers the choice of sensors like Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni 100 and Ni 1000 in the range from -200 °C up to +850 °C. The temperature is entered via keyboard or data interface. The corresponding resistance appears at the output socket in two, three or four wire method. The resistance decade allows a direct choice of resistances between 1 Ω and 1.2 MΩ. Depending on the ohm value the resolution can be chosen up to 0.00001 Ω. The selected resistance can be picked up via two or four wire method. The LCD display informs about chosen resistance or temperature, sensor type and control status. Especially for high-cavity PET plastic injection moulding there are various industry standards of clamp-band nozzle heaters available. Most common are the Axial Clamp-Band Heater and the Two-screw Clamp-Band Heater. Our HotCoil cable heaters with clamp band represent a highly demanded and very flexible clamping system, especially for heating larger nozzles and bushings with high power. The size-variable customizable clamp bands counteract the heating's thermal-related "lifting ambition" during heat-up and thus effectively prevent a possible critical overheating. For an even better protection all HotCoil heating elements can also be provided with an integrated thermocouple. As alternative to our standard clamping mechanism with welded clamping elements a space-saving lug clamping mechanism can be supplied.
