Our hostel is located in the village Berg im Drautal between the cities of Lienz and Spittal an der Drau, on the south side of the Alps. Ideal for the 1st or 2nd stop on the Drau cycle path. Cyclists appreciate the short distance of 2 minutes to the Drau Cycle Path. Canoeists the 300m to the boat dock near the bridge of the Drau river and Delta and paragliders the 800m to the landing site from the flight area Emberger Alm. Well sign-posted hiking trails open up at the hostels front door, the Jakobsweg is in 20 minutes walking distance. Lately, the municipality of Berg was awarded with the Austrian Hiking Quality Seal.
