    The cooperative strawberry farm “Ecofruits” was launched in 2011 on the basis of Agricultural Servicing Cooperative LosyatynskeMolochneDzherelo. The farm was created “from scratch”due to the project “Development of strawberry cooperatives” and financed by Danone Ecosystem Fund, Heifer Project International, Dantrade and in cooperation with the ICF “DobrobutGromad” and Public Association “Innovative farming and co-operation”. Several auxiliary grants were also received by the farm from USAID and UNDP.Today, the farm has 23 hectares of strawberry fields, a 30-tonne cooling chamber and a 15-tonne freezer.In addition to products from its fields, the enterprisereceives strawberries and raspberries from other members of the cooperative and helps with sales.From the beginning, the fields of the enterprisewere created using modern technologies, accompanied by leading Italian and Ukrainian experts.An important part of our activities is compliance with the principles of sustainable agriculture.The enterprise twice conducted an audit of the University of Bern according to RISE methodology and continues working on improvement of results.The main buyer of Ecofruits is Danone, which buys strawberries to use in yogurts produced in Ukraine.Also, our strawberries can be found in markets and on supermarket shelves. We sell 200-300 tons of strawberries and about 100 tons of raspberries every year.
