Founded in 1964 by Karl-Heinz Burre (Dipl.-Ing.), Burre Hydraulik began operations in 1965. The original idea of an engineering office was quickly rejected and its own small manufacturing facilities began. The first developments comprised control valves for hydraulic excavators, explosion-protected solenoid valves and diaphragm valves. In 1972, the company moved into the newly constructed production hall on the site on which Burre Hydraulik's headquarters still stand today. A 540 m² production area allowed more space for putting the founder's innovative ideas into practice. Burre Hydraulik thus designed and produced items including explosion-proof solenoid valves for the refuelling systems of diesel locomotives belonging to Deutsche Bahn. But Karl-Heinz Burre realised quickly that the future lay in hydraulic control systems and equipment, and he orientated the company accordingly. He accepted the challenge here and often entered uncharted technical territory. He therefore had a significant influence on the automation of machinery for the textile industry. But he was also successful in other technical areas. For example, he developed an automatic scuttle for seagoing vessels. The production area also grew consistently in line with this development, and is now over 5000 m².

Jetter LLC is a developer and manufacturer of a unique Jetter ACV, which can be used as a river and lake rescue vehicle, an all-terrain vehicle, a pleasure boat. The Jetter amphibian is an all-season all-terrain vehicle that can move through water, swamp, sand, snow, ice, negotiate hills and small obstacles. In contrast to similar vehicles Jetter is a sidewall hovercraft (SES), which has increased space from the surface to the bottom (by about 30 cm), enhanced steerability on the water due to the orientation of the skegs and the transverse steps on the bottom. Jetter ACV is capable of staying afloat for a long time without sinking and is easily repairable in field conditions. An empty Jetter airboat weighs only 290 kg and can carry up to 2 people with a total weight of up to 260 kg. The 65 HP gasoline engine and 47 L fuel tank provide a cruising range of up to 280 km. The hovercraft is suitable for year-round operation at temperatures from -30 to +40°C. Jetter is suitable for winter and summer fishing, boating and adventure holidays, hunting, tourism, cargo transportation, emergency rescue operations, medical assistance in hard-to-reach areas. The Jetter company performs development, design, engineering of hovercraft and development and production of private ship transport made of materials that have passed the necessary tests for durability and wear resistance.

The technological possibilities of the yard allow simultaneous newbuilding per year of 10 vessels in the range up to 45 000 tdw . The focus of the yard for next years is to built specialized tankers such as oil-tankers, bunker tankers, chemical tankers and bitumen carriers using its own projects.

Brodosplit shipyard is located in Split, the regional center of the eastern Adriatic coast and the second largest city in Croatia, whose history dates back to the Roman emperor Diocletian. Significant development of shipbuilding in this area began by establishing several smaller repair shipyards and their merging in 1922. The shipyard Brodosplit has been in its current location since 1932. At this point Brodosplit grows into the largest Croatian shipyard, today covering an area of 560 000 square meters. Brodosplit’s wider expansion within the demanding international market started in the second half of the past century. Brodosplit's production program is wide and varied. Basic and most important products of the company are, of course, ships: commercial, passenger, container, ships for the transport of liquid and bulk cargo, dredgers... and other special types of ships, mostly built for international clients.
