  1. JME LTD

    United Kingdom

JME is regarded across the globe as the market leader for the development and manufacture of high quality inspection systems. JME are very proud to have supplied the industry over the past 30 years, with a client base that is growing by the day. We manufacture the world renowned JME Pipeline Crawler inspection system, Betatron Portable X-Ray systems and Digital X-Ray inspection systems, we also manufacture bespoke systems from design to completion, all from our facility in the U.K. JME provides back up support for all of its products, with a maintenance and spares service that is second to none. Our range of pipeline crawler systems are designed to inspect circumferential butt welds in new pipelines, such as oil and gas transmission pipelines, from 6” to 72” (15.24cm to 183cm). As a self-contained and self-powered exposure vehicle, they are ideal for a vast range of NDT applications both on and off shore. JME offer 4 systems within the Betatron range each with a different maximum energy, the outputs are 2.5, 6, 7, 7.5 and 9MeV. The systems offer cost savings and a greater degree of portability when compared with systems such as linear accelerators (Linacs) which are much larger, non-portable, and can cost up to 10 times the price of a JME Betatron. Our portable Betatron systems are capable of undertaking the inspection of a variety of materials. They will successfully produce radiographs of objects with a thickness of up to 300mm of steel and 1mtr of concrete.

CYGNUS is a manufacturer of ultrasonic testing equipment and a pioneer in the digital Multiple-Echo technique which has long since been the industry standard for through coating measurement of material thickness. Driven by the need for a hand-held device, CYGNUS has developed Multiple-Echo digital thickness gauges which measure metal thickness through protective coatings in a reliable and repeatable way. CYGNUS gauges are robust and simple to use and engineered to withstand the harshest environments. Our roots are in marine inspection services and we are investing heavily in market research and product development. CYGNUS has set and raised the standard for accurate thickness measurement devices, manufacturing gauges utilised in almost all industries including: Explosive environments; Rope access surveys; Ship hull surveys and Underwater inspections. Cargo hold hatch covers and door seals, Tightness testing equipment, Corrosion monitoring equipment, Hands free operation for climbing and rope access work, Hatch cover inspection equipment, Hatch cover leak detector, Hatch seal tester, Hull thickness gauge, Leak detection unit, Pipeline corrosion monitoring, Thickness measurement equipment, Tightness detection system, Instruments for measuring, checking and testing material thickness, Ultrasonic tightness and thickness test equipment and gauges, Underwater corrosion and thickness gauges, etc.
