Throughout its development, shifts have been seen from a simple geometry of castings made of unalloyed steels into more demanding and complex product constructions using low & high-alloyed cast steel. Croning livarna d.o.o. has 40-years long tradition in production of carbon and alloyed cast steel, wear-resistant cast steel on the basis of Cr and Mn, stainless and corrosion-resistant cast steel, heat-proof steel castings, duplex and superduplex steel castings and special nickel alloys. With two different methods, foundry is able to produce castings with 0, 1-60 kg according to Croning method, and castings with weight 10-1300 kg according to the Veloset method (self-hardening sand moulds). Capacity of foundry is 120 t monthly.
