We are capable of producing non-standard pallets that can reach up to 4 meters in length, both heat-treated (IPPC - ISPM 15) and dry. However, we do not manufacture EUR pallets or CP pallets. Our production facility is located in Western Poland, close to the German-Polish border. We offer a range of non-typical pallets made from needlewood, starting from 40x60cm up to 2m x 4m in size. Our pallets are available in both block and beam configurations, with options for 2-way or 4-way entry. Additionally, we can provide dry or IPPC compliant pallets to suit your specific needs. Whether boards, blocks or nails – we manufacture all of our own subproducts at our site in Torgau in eastern Germany. This means that we ensure planning certainty and security of supply for your production. HIT Holzindustrie Torgau was founded in 1999 and, with over EUR 220 million of turnover and around 800 employees, is one of the biggest manufacturers of euro-pallets in Europe. Every year, over 1.1 million cubic metres of wood are processed into pallets and other wood products (incl. sawn timber, pellets and briquettes) at the production site in Torgau. The plant has annual production and drying capacities for 17 million transport pallets. In recent years, HIT has invested over EUR 200 million into a highly technological and fully integrated production process which covers all stages of value creation – from procuring the untreated wood to producing and delivering pallets and other wood products. All of the waste materials generated during processing, such as wood bark, wood chips and sawdust, are further processed to produce marketable finished and semi-finished products. For example, sawdust is used to produce pellets and briquettes, and blocks are used to make transport pallets. The wood residues are used to power five in-house biomass heating plants. The high-quality wood products originate from sustainable, certified forests.
