We have a CNC workshop based in Coleraine carrying out milling and Lathe work.We work with one off bespoke/prototype items and small quantity parts orders .Largest order being 400 items for a client last month. Smallest item being a 1 off piece on an old machine that the customer could not get parts for due to the age on the machine he owns.The machines we have allow for Lathe turning and 3 Axis Milling.The newest addition is a Lathe with milling functions eliminating the need for machined parts being removed from the Lathe and set up again to get milling features added.This reduces setup time and therefore cost of the parts is reducedCurrently the largest mills have a table of 1000 x 700.With the lathes the newest (introduced in March 2021) can take up 65mm bar feed and work on X, Y, Z, B, C axis and give us the milling capability within a lathe.Max dimeter on the chucks would be 250mm in billet formWe can also carry out Surface grinding and certain heat treatments in house.Within our Quality room we havea CMM machine for accurate measurements, Shadow graphing when we need to reverse engineer the parts and take some details from the partHeight gauge accurate to 3 decimal places, measuring items up to 600mm longMaterial Hardness testingThe business has a key feature over some other machine shops in that we have teamed up with Blackrock Electrics who carry out the electronic / automation side for us and with that partnership we have designed and built fully automated bespoke m
