    The Twister is a 3rd generation VERTICAL CYCLONIC SEPARATOR technology developed using DRYCAKE's 25-year separation technology experience. The Twister is designed for the food waste unpacking solution and is the most versatile available on the market, The Twister unpacks and separates contaminants from food waste to be processed for composting and anaerobic digestion facilities. The Twister is used for removing the organics from the organics fraction of MSW, source separated organics, restaurant waste, supermarket waste, organics fraction of a MWS sorting plant, pre-consumer and post-consumer waste, expired food. The Twister is fed by front loader or overhead crane and can also be fed with a belt conveyor or other custom made system. In the hopper, an upper screw is installed to avoid bridging while the lower screw feeds the Twister separator. Once inside the TWISTER, the paddle mill generates centrifugal force pushing the organics through the perforations. The TWISTER effect lifts the packaging vertically and releases contaminants through the tangential outlet. The separated organics as well as the packaging materials are extremely clean. Twister is patented throughout the world and is looking to enlarge its dealer network.
