Draht Müller was originally founded in 1931. In January 2016, it was split into different business divisions. Since then, it has comprised the spot-welded wire mesh division in Dülmen, and the crimp screen and paper and waste basket divisions in Billerbeck, which are independent companies. The modern machine inventory enables production to individual specifications. The tightest possible mechanical tolerances and efficient operations guarantee the highest quality at the lowest cost. This applies to every single weld spot. We excel as both a supplier for the processing industry and a manufacturer of finished products. Our meshes are used in the manufacture of fences, shelves and pallets, gabions and stone baskets, in the livestock farming and construction sectors and in all kinds of separation and protective grilles, for example in the conveyor technology field.

We manufacture spot-welded wire mesh to your measurements and specifications - WDM Deutenberg specialises in industrial wire mesh manufactured to individual customer requirements. Our spot-welded wire mesh is available in sizes from 300 x 250 mm to 8000 x 2400 mm depending on the mesh type and wire diameter. We use four different types of wire and materials to produce our meshes: bare wire, galvanised wire, zinc-aluminium-coated wire and stainless steel wire. In addition to the wire types, we have different diameters to suit your application, from 2.0 mm to 18.0 mm. Our spot-welded wire meshes are suitable for a wide range of applications. Thanks to more than 60 years of concentrated further development of our core business, our company now specialises in producing grids and meshes of all kinds for our customers. We provide products both for retail and directly for end customers. Our company was founded in 1945 as a metalworking company with subdivisions for fencing and door construction. Even in its early years, the company incorporated a small mechanical engineering department, in order to design wire processing machines for in-house use. In the 1970s, wire weaving developed into an equally important source of income for the company. In 1978, the first fully automatic production facility for corrugated grids and stamping grids was built, the company relocated to Erkrath and new markets were opened up thanks to the company concentrating on manufacturing wire meshes. In 1995, the product range was expanded to include spot-welded grids and profile edgings. Manufacturing is now carried out on four fully automated production lines.
