Our calibration laboratory is set-up to perform measurements of impedance and insertion loss over the frequency range 20Hz to 500MHz with automated systems to offer cost-effective results. Products manufactured by Cranage EMC Technology Limited are also backed up by extensive calibration facilities for the measurement of inductance, capacitance, and resistance. Many of our products have been independently calibrated with UKAS traceability and this has served to verify our measurement results. LISN's, PLIP's and CDN's are initially supplied calibrated with results documented according to our calibration procedures. Annual re-calibration is also provided on a standard traceability basis. You would receive a bound calibration record for each product submitted with measurement results and details of procedures used. This service is quoted inclusive of return UK carriage cost and is offered on a 5 days turnaround.

Traceable calibration of testing machines and instruments is essential for industrial quality control. Calibration certificates are a compelling proof of test equipment inspection for the standards DIN EN ISO 9000ff and DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025. The time intervals for the calibration will depend on the applicable standard, but should normally not exceed 12 months. Attention should also be paid to the rules for local changes or repairs. The precision RTD simulator is used where measuring instruments or controlling means with high precision must be examined or calibrated. The simulator is suitable for calibration laboratory and service centers which need a computer-controlled resistance decade for the automation of calibration procedures. All standard platinum and nickel RTD can be simulated with very high accuracy according to scales ITS 90 or IPTS 68. Temperature regulators, transducers etc. often supply a pulsed signal current in order to reduce the self-heating of the RTD. Devices with electronic simulation of RTD are therefore inclined to swinging and do not function with this application. The CCG Series of annular load cells are designed for the measurement of compressive forces, both continually and periodically, and are often used in critical bolted installations to monitor bolt tension. They are also used in cable tension applications where they are mounted at the anchor point. Their low profile makes them ideal for use where space is limited. The high-precision calibration laboratory is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for flow calibration of flowing gases. The EP calibration laboratory is accredited by the DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for calibrations of gases in-house and on-site under the procedure number D-K-21444-01-00. We offer calibrations for gas flow measurement as well as temperature, humidity and pressure measurements. In addition, we calibrate all measured variables of the test bench directly at your site. Our experienced technicians also check the harmonious interaction of all sensors, so that the entire system is perfectly tuned. The portable, battery-operated KAL 84 calibration system combines a pressure transmitter and pressure gauge. These can be used to test and calibrate pressure sensors and other pressure gauges for low pressures both quickly and easily. A high degree of accuracy and excellent reproducibility of results combined with a robust design give the system all the functionalities required for laboratory and service applications. Regular and Adhoc Fuel Calibration & Servicing It is recommended to have tanker meters calibrated on a yearly basis to ensure that they continue to give the correct measure. Alpeco is able to offer this service on a ‘when required’ basis, or a tailored yearly service contract is available, which also includes a thorough service to all Alpeco derived equipment on the customer’s installation. Alpeco is then able to seal the equipment for public use. All Alpeco reference meters follow the same stringent guidelines as applied to all Trading Standards instruments to ensure the utmost accuracy.
