Multilift II safety is yet another version of the Multilift II lifting column that is in the pipeline. RK Rose+Krieger has developed this column specially for overhead applications in media technology. Its uses include the correct positioning of projectors and monitors, whereby the lifting column is mounted upside down on the ceiling. A proprietary developed internal safety system prevents any accidental extension of the lifting column.

The Multilift II clean has now been added to the range. It has been deliberately developed for use in the clean room. A special shroud for the DC motor with brushes of the lifting column means discharge of particles is kept to a minimum. To verify its suitability for use in clean rooms, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA carried out a particle emissions test as per DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and certified the lifting column for use in clean rooms up to a globally valid class 4.

Lifting column Multilift II ESD – discharging voltages via the lifting column In the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing industry, electrostatic discharges can impair the function of components being assembled, or even destroy them. Special ESD assembly workstations are equipped with an antistatic finishing that prevents this from occurring. Until now, lifting columns for the height adjustment of workstations have prevented the safe dissipation of electrostatic discharges by interrupting the electric connection between the table and the foot frame. However, with the Multilift II ESD, RK Rose+Krieger has developed a patented electric height adjustment system that is able to dissipate voltages. This has been realised thanks to the design of the outer and inner profiles which are continuously in contact with one another.

The Multilift is for continuous height adjustment of tables, equipment, assembly workstations and similar applications. The lifting column can be operated alone or as a pair in parallel. To establish a configuration with absolute synchronous run of several drives (maximal 4) a special drive control is available as synchronous version. Bei der Geometrie des “technic-Designs” wurde besonderer Wert auf die Funktionalität gelegt. Die geraden Kanten und die im Außenprofil integrierte 30er Nutgeometrie ermöglicht eine Anbindung von BLOCAN®-Profilen. Die Hubsäule kann somit problemlos in Konstruktionen eingebunden werden. Typische Einsatzbereiche sind zum Beispiel die Höhenverstellung von Montagetischen und CAD-Arbeitsplätzen.

The cable channels feature a cover that can either be removed by lifting it upwards or pivoted open by up to 90° along the length of the channel. Order made easy. In addition to the pivoting cover, installers also value the optional plastic separating strips, which ensure that the individual hoses, signal lines and power cables in the cable channel can be easily separated and well structured. The separating strips also facilitate overhead assembly. When inserted in the cable channel, they prevent the installed cables and channels from falling out. The separating strips can be opened at any time to allow the installation of further cables. They are also available with mounting holes, which is a new feature for aluminium cable channels. Fast assembly and perfect organisation Modern machines contain countless power, data and control cables, along with pneumatic hoses. In large systems, the total length of these can quickly add up to several thousand metres. Cable channels make it easier to organise and assemble these cables. The BLOCAN® cable channel system made from anodised aluminium impresses not only with its attractive design, but also through a multitude of well thought out details, which offer the customer considerable added value and greatly facilitate their work. The cable channels in sizes 40, 40x20, 40x80, 80x40 and 80x80 can be supplied as 6 metre bars or cut to length. They are also available with mounting holes, which is a new feature for aluminium cable channels. These can be very quickly attached to a BLOCAN® profile slot by means of a pivoting mounting clip.

Connecting tubes which have been cut to size can be connected to one another using ITAS tube connectors made of cast aluminium via a simple plug-in principle. No further mechanical processing is necessary, which reduces assembly costs to a minimum. An internal clamping mechanism and the tightening of the special clamping screws guarantee a positive connection with smooth transitions, which are pleasant to the touch and also ensure enhanced safety – injuries due to getting caught up are an impossibility. The result is a simple and stable system which fulfils all safety guidelines.

With the new height-adjustable monitor floor stand, RK Rose+Krieger is expanding its "RK monitor holder" product range to include a robust, ergonomic standing workstation for industry. The work surface and monitor mounting are supported by a stable triple column system and can be adjusted conveniently by hand to the size of the respective user. The three elegant, slim anodised aluminium columns stand on a black, powder-coated base frame which provides space for an industrial PC and accessories. Cables are elegantly routed in the integrated cable duct on the rear column. The light grey coated work surface (0.3 m2) can be adjusted by hand easily thanks to the tieback support. A spring-loaded locking bolt provides reliable latching. The height adjustment stroke is 400 millimetres. This way the workstation can be adjusted individually to the body size of the user. In addition, the height of the monitor can be adjusted separately and thus guarantees optimum workstation ergonomics.

RK Rose+Krieger has optimised its RK Duoline profile linear unit for use in cleanrooms and now offers spindle and belt-driven RK Duoline Clean linear units, with or without vacuum suction, in the popular sizes 60 and 80.
