However nowadays, they cover a large range of applications due to their modular construction and minimum space requirements. They are suitable for heating up nearly all gases and liquids or superheating steam. They are mainly used in hazardous areas. Especially when processes require a combination of high power (in the MW range) high pressure and temperatures of up to 550°C cable type heaters are the means to choose.

With increasing demands on the efficiency in agriculture, precision farming is becoming more and more important. ISOBUS is specified in standard ISO 11783-2 and describes the BUS including the connectors used with it. To extend the CONEC product range in the field of connection solutions for agricultural and construction machinery, the connectors for ISOBUS are included in the ready-made and overmoulded design. The overmoulded ISOBUS-series is available as male and female version. The contact carrier has the 9-pin contact image required by the standard.
