Toner based printing offers high quality photographic output with very strong abrasion durability. The superior durability is achieved by a high temperature fusing process that happens internal to the printer. Due to the high temperatures required to permanently bond the toner to the surface of the substrate material types must be rated to withstand extreme heat. Some synthetic material are not designed to withstand such temperatures and could cause catastrophic failures within the fuser. The good news is that GetLabels has been manufacturing and qualifying material, including synthetics, that will withstand the extreme temperatures used in toner based printing. Our materials are compatible in toner based printers from all the leading manufactures.

The high-quality, super-calendered glassine papers used by HERMA are ideally suited for labelling machines with optical or mechanical scanning. Their adhesive bond properties ensure excellent processing on all standard flat bed and rotary die cutting machines.

PE films non top-coated The glossy, corona pre-treated surface yields good printing quality in screen, letterpress, and flexo printing. Before printing, we recommend a refreshing of the corona pre-treatment. It is possible to produce very attractive glossy labels, which are preferentially used on PE surfaces for recycling reasons. The high flexibility also permits an unproblematic adhesion on curved surfaces.

PE film label manufactured entirely from recycled material Produced exclusively from recycled polyethylene, the HERMA label material rPE is thought to be the first of its kind intended for use in the manufacture of PE film labels. It responds well to coating during production and offers very good printability no matter what the technique, from flexo and offset to screen and digital printing. HERMA Wash-off adhesives are characterized by their reliable adhesive force, even in cool and humid environments, and can still be washed off residue-free in industrial cleaning processes.
