Carbon is a composite material and differs significantly from quasiisotropic materials like steel or aluminium. As with glass fibrereinforced plastics, the material properties depend on the direction. With a density of approx. 1.6 g/cm³, the material is very light, while maintaining good rigidity and vibration behaviour. If you want to increase the rigidity of a GRP component, it is often sufficient to use a blend of glass and carbon fibres.

Coated and un-coated manufactured special cables and wires made from a variety of raw materials can be used in various safety, control and attenuator elements in automotive engineering. We stock a wide, extremely varied, range of connection components in a variety of designs, sizes and materials, such as brass, tinplated copper, aluminium and stainless steel. Our products are made to customer specifications, in order to best meet their requirements (including breaking strength, elongation, flexing properties, corrosion resistance, DC resistance, low twist and low tension design, workability). Our manufacturing processes are permanently monitored and secured using appropriate procedures. As standard, we use both galvanised and stainless steel wire in accordance with DIN EN 10 264 with nominal strength of over 3000 Mpa with adequate ductility. We also use the non-corroding materials 1.4301 (AISI 304), 1.4310 (AISI 301) and 1.4401 (AISI 316) as standard.

Material: low carbon steel We produce our corrugated STAX segment wire steel fibers in the lengths of 50 mm and 34 mm. Application for our STAX segment wire steel fibers you find in industrial concrete floors and plates.

Material: low carbon steel We offer our STAX steel fibers as short fiber according to customer specification (on special request as well as strand on reels). The Ø-fiber strength is approx. 30-50 μm. Regular analyses in our laboratory ensure the quality of our products. Main area of application for our STAX steel fibers is friction material for brakes and clutches, and as concrete reinforcement or in plastic compounds. Further we produce segment wire steel fibers for reinforcement of conrete floors for example.

The LIPP® Large Thermal Storage Tank is a customized solution to effectively store excessive heat from biogas plants, biomass heating plants, solar plants or other heat sources. The carbon steel tanks are fabricated on site with the patented automated LIPP® Welding Technology. The horizontal welding process enables the infinitely variable production of tanks up to 6,000 m³ volume with horizontal welding only. The largevolume, above ground storage tanks are fitted with all necessary safety and operation equipment. Additional, individual components according to client’s specification can be considered. The roof and wall insulation is individually adapted to local conditions. The LIPP® Thermal Storage Tanks operate at atmospheric pressure, at a temperature of up to 95° C and are suitable for use with heating water. Speciality No additional nitrogen system necessary.

Schnelldorfer CORNERWELD seam welding machines have been designed to weld sheet metal plates in a 90° joint. The precision clamping system with inert gas coverage and advanced OEM control package precisely controls the welding sequence and weld parameters, resulting in the perfect weld for your corners. CORNERWELD applications include welded corners for food, medical equipment, HVAC drip pans, electrical enclosures, and laboratory furniture. Complex inward and outward flanges can be accommodated with custom made tooling pieces. A wide range of materials can be welded, including Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel and Aluminium. Complete welded parts do not require any costly grinding, polishing or blending thus greatly saving on manufacturing costs.

The SANHA®-Therm installation system consists of tried and trusted SANHA®-Therm press fittings from carbon steel (c-steel) with a black sealing ring from EPDM (ethylene propylene dien rubber monomere) and SANHA®-Therm carbon steel pipes according to EN 10305-3. The carefully manufactured installation systen and its components offer an economically attractive solution for closed heating installations. At the same time, SANHA®-Therm ist especially well suited for pressurised air and fire extinguishing systems according to EN 10346 (DZ version). The variant "Contiflo" also offers galvanized system pipes which are characterized by being easy to bend. Our C-steel system is furthermore available as a LABS*-free version (series 27000).
