This ensures each of our cabinets is perfectly square and allows allows us to include rebated corner joints and rebates for back panels. This provides an added detail to the front face/edge and helps towards exceptional rigidity. Our cabinets are supplied fully assembled with a glued and screwed construction and feature a solid, 18mm thick, back panel, each adding to the superior strength, and overall rigidity of our cabinets. This method also avoids the use of any unsightly, “cam and dowel fixings often seen in in cheap. high volume carcass production. To ensure our high quality, Birch Plywood Wall Cabinets are the best they can be, the internal face of each panel is lightly sanded and the visible, forward facing edges are sanded to silky smooth finish, ready for lacquering.

Flexible MDF, or bendy MDF, as it is also known, is an MDF panel that is grooved on the rear which allows it to bend, with minimal distortion, around existing curved surfaces or curved formers. Flexible MDF comes in to two thicknesses, 6mm and 9mm. Two sheets can be glued together to provide extra rigidity and increase impact resistance.
