Thanks to the Metzner automatic throughfeed punching machines, processing operations such as contour cutting, drilling and milling can be integrated into a throughfeed system. All these machines store all machining parameters and machine settings in a machining recipe. When starting production, an integrated barcode scanner activates all presettings on the basis of the working papers and simultaneously reports the correct tool and material on the machine display. The barcode also contains the required quantities and lengths. Thanks to well thought-out quick-change systems, tools and materials are generally changed within no more than 30 seconds, minimizing downtimes.

Our company cooperates with the Austrian company Paul&Ernst GmbH. This is a prime example of our cooperation. We manufacture tricycle frames for them. Our latest machine is the VTC-300 CII which is a highly versatile vertical machining centre with a large 2000 mm table cross dimension and high-speed rapid traverse of up to 36 m/min. Productivity and efficiency are greatly improved as the machine work envelope is separated into 2 work areas. This allows the machine to be in cycle, in one work area, while a part is being set up in the other work area.
