This very compact optical system with an original design allows two groups of lenses to be moved perfectly coaxially over several millimeters. It is particularly recommended for applications requiring a constant alignment precision when moving the lenses. The perfect coaxiality of the lens holders is guaranteed by a common bore machined in a single operation. This connector is extremely well suited for harsh environments and other demanding applications. The MIL-83526 DM (Diamond Multipurpose) connector incorporates four (4) termini utilizing Diamond's two-component ferrules, assembled with the company's Active Core Alignment (ACA) process for unparalleled fiber core concentricity. This connector is also available with electrical contacts for hybrid E/O applications. The MIL-83526 DM connector is available for MM, SM (PC/APC) and smallcore single mode fiber, polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber, and other specialty fiber types. Furthermore, Diamond‘s splice-on termini can be field terminated with the Diamond ZEUS D50 HE fusion splicer, allowing for in-service repairs and custom installation.

Built around the innovative Diamond Multipurpose insert, the HE-2000™ connector incorporates four termini using Diamond's two-component ferrules, assembled with the company's Active Core Alignment process for unparalleled fiber core concentricity. Also available are electrical contacts for hybrid E/O applications. The optical and electrical termini are protected from dust and water with the unique automatic protection shutter on the plug connector and a manual shutter on the bulkhead receptacle. Multimode fibers are increasingly being used to transmit high power and connectors are incorporating a modular design to help eliminate the need for a splice. Diamond has developed the E-2000™ PSm and DMI PSm products utilizing our Optical interface PSm technology for use with these fibers and applications. Our Power Solution products are designed to work with all optical fiber destined for higher power applications. For multimode fibers in particular, our PSm technology has been developed to guarantee high power transmission targeting mainly, but not limited to, pump lasers integration. Based on the known Diamond ZEUS D50 Fusion splicer, which provides fast, easy, and high performance field terminations of Splice-On Connectors (SOC), we have developed a new Kit with the aim of simplifying the field repair or termination of outdoor connectors. The Kit contains everything that is needed to prepare, handle and splice tough outdoor/military and industrial cables with an outer diameter of 3 mm to 8 mm, including a cleaver and an automated stripping machine with heated jaws. Once the cable is fixed on a sliding holder, all three operations can be carried out without additional cable manipulation.

The special feature of the new DiaFlex fan-out connection is that the fiber whips can be removed and replaced via a connector system in the divider. This provides greater flexibility in the installation of fiber-optic networks. Cable ends can be replaced flexibly, quickly and without spending a great deal of time or money, and cable installations can be extended as is necessary. Thanks to the feed-in cap, which has a small design, preassembled cables can be inserted directly into pipes or cable ducts. There is therefore no need for expensive splices. The cable and the fiber whips are manufactured in the fiber design and quantity that you requested, inspected and delivered with the corresponding test reports. Two production process are available in two product lines. Our broad PM standard products achieve a low Insertion Losses (IL) combined with high polarization extinction ratios (PER) and higher return losses (RL) thanks to our independent process of Active Core Alignment and Active Orientation. The multichannel connectors based on our DM technology insert (HE-2000, MIL-38999 DM, MIL-83526 DM) are fully compatible with the PM standard termination. The PM+ product line is available on homologated connectors, fibers and cables, and provide the same low IL
