The Curvassi range of rotary tube bending machines have been designed for high quality bending of both metric and imperial tube sizes with a wall thickness sufficient to bend without a mandrel. Tooling can be supplied any tube diameter within the capacity of the machine and in a variety of centre line radii. Three models are available with tube bending capacities of up to 60mm, 76mm and 114mm diameter, based on mild steel tube.

The CBC tube bending machines range from ‘easy to use’ simple machines to precision programmable production machines. A comprehensive tooling range ensures high bend quality on all models. All formers can be specified with either counter formers or guide rollers depending on material and wall thickness. Optional equipment includes moving arm with positioning stops and plane of bend indicator. The new large capacity CBC UNI 89 can effortlessly bend 88.9mm x 8mm wall mild steel tube.

The heavily constructed HFPX H frame presses are ideal for a whole variety of bending, forming, pressing and straightening operations. These models include many features of the popular HFP models but with the addition of heavy top and bottom ram plates with tee slots for easy fixture of tools, adjustable limit switches for ram stroke and return, and twin guidance pistons in addition to the main ram.

The heavily constructed PBH press brake model is of an H frame design and is fitted with heavy duty top and bottom press brake tools, ideal for a whole variety of heavier bending operations. These models feature adjustable limit switches for ram stroke and return, as well as twin guidance pistons in addition to the main ram. The machine operates at a safe working speed and is also fitted with a two handed control to ensure the operator is well away from the working area. These are a great alternative to a full form press brake.

The Simasv hydraulic horizontal bending machines are ideal for precision bending, straightening, punching and shearing. All models are equipped with powerful hydraulic cylinders located below the table providing an unencumbered working area. This is of particular benefit compared with traditional bending machines and pressbrakes as enclosed bends can be completed without colliding with the machine frame. Available with capacities from 22 tonnes up to 100 tonnes and with a large range of tooling, these machines have proved capable of performing a whole variety of operations.

These machines have proved capable of performing a whole variety of bending applications. It is very easy to manufacture specialised tooling such as pipe bending, bar straightening and angle bending brackets and cleats. The forward and return bending stroke travel can be set with minimum travel, sufficient enough to reload the material therefore reducing cycle time. With capacity to manufacture machines in the range of 200mm to 8000mm bending length and 1mm to 300mm bending capacity, MG has a solution for virtually every requirement. The 4-Roll ‘Series M’ models are of double pinch design, with additional bottom roll, and have been produced using high quality components, benefiting from MG’s proven technology, allowing maximum performance while still requiring little maintenance over the life of the machine. The 4-Roll design, with continuous pinching of the material, provides the option of fitting an NC or CNC control, therefore allowing the automation of the bending process.

The Morgan Rushworth DPBH-4 hydraulic bending rolls are available with roll diameters ranging from 280mm up to the large 680mm machines. The 4 roll design is extremely powerful, with 3 of the rolls hydraulically driven and the fourth lower roll hydraulically adjusted up and down to pinch the material into position. The feature greatly assists the operator, especially during multiple radius bending as the work piece is always held. All models have hydraulic drop end and are supplied with DRO to all three adjusting rolls to indicate roll position.

The Morgan Rushworth DPBM-4 range of rolls have been designed to bend thin sheets and medium size plate material up to a width of 4100mm. The 4 roll design allows for double pre bending with its powerful linear action hydraulic cylinders. The lower roll is hydraulically raised to ‘pinch’ the material which greatly assists the operator for precision bending. Hydraulic drop end ensures effortless removal of tubular components. The standard machines have three digital readouts to indicate position of all the moving rolls, whilst the optional CNC/NC controller can be programmed for accuracy and volume production.

The conventional PB series press brake are manufactured with a heavy duty welded steel frame with strong torsion bar and hydro mechanical balancing system ensuring a long working life. PB machines range from 35 tonnes through to 300 tonnes with a bending length of up to 4100mm. All PB machines accept euro style tooling and are supplied with digital readouts for stroke control and for the power back gauge position. Side and rear guards with electrical interlocks are fitted as standard for increased safety.
