The auger feeder series enables the volumetric dosing of powdery products with fine granulation, which can sometimes present problems of compactness, dust content and variable density, such as cocoa, curry and other "powdery" products. The various problems associated with processing the products are solved, starting with feeding the product through a hermetically sealed hopper equipped with a level sensor and a motorised agitator. The screw, made from a single solid mass, has an electronically controlled speed by means of a servo motor, which allows the use of acceleration and deceleration ramps that ensure an immediate screw stop, thus guaranteeing optimum dosing accuracy.

Volumetric cup fillers enable the volumetric dosing of granular products. They can be fitted to all models of vertical form fill and seal machines and are offered in two series: 6 cups or 12 cups. Both models are equipped with a feed hopper with controlled outlet, a product level sensor, a series of cups made of food-grade material, a fixed lower cup carrier and, in automatic mode, a height-adjustable upper cup carrier with cup level sensor. The SOMOS® Gramix ExactDos dosing system is specifically designed for ultra-small volumes from a minimum throughput of 200 g/h (approx. 3.3 g/min) and can be combined with any continuous dosing unit.

SOMOS® Volmix from ProTec is a highly accurate volumetric dosing and mixing system. Volmix stands for VOLumetric dosing and MIXing. The system supplies injection molding machines as well as extruders or blow molding machines with throughputs of up to 2,500 kg/h. A high-accuracy small-volume dosing unit for regrind for a throughput as low as 150 g/h is available as an option.

The SOMOS® Volmix MH15 volumetric small-volume dosing unit continuously and highly accurately meters granular or pulverulent minor components (masterbatches, additives etc.) into a freely inflowing major component (pellets). A dosing screw introduces even tiny volumes into the process without pulsation. Five screw sets are available for adjusting the volume to be introduced. A static mixer finally ensures that a homogeneous mixture of the major and minor components flows into the processing machine.

In powered mode, the field strength generated in the solenoid pulls the plunger against the spring tension out of the non-powered position. Solenoids for DC and AC voltage add considerably to the range of technical variants. As the solenoid encompasses the plunger guide tube and the plunger moves in this encapsulated structure, these solenoid valves are called plunger valves.

CJS 25 HI is an electronic dosing device with load cells for semi-automatic filling of bags with max weight 25 kg. Hopper capacity 300 l, bags weight 2-25 kg. The machine is suitable for the automatic dosage of granular products with a good flowability. The dispenser is mainly formed by a welded and painted tubular steel, stainless steel, loading hopper with pneumatic closing, fast discharge channel, slow discharge channel with vibrator to achieve the exact weight, weighing hopper installed on load cells, pneumatic device for locking the empty bag, PLC operator interface and user-friendly keyboard. The dispenser can be combined with a motorized conveyor for automatic loading of the product and to a free or motorized conveyor for unloading the full bag, it can also be combinated with an automatic packaging machine. All parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel. Ideal for packaging of pellets, granulated foods, dried pasta (short), cereals, coffee, nuts, sugar, etc.

SERIES ELECTRONIC DOSERS EWM entirely made of stainless steel AISI 304, suitable for packing granular products in preformed bags. The standard weighing range varies from 10 to 3000 grams and from 200 to 5000 grams. It is also possible to reduce the minimum weight by decreasing the weighing speed but the doser could lose precision. Before making the purchase, we invite customers to check that the AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for contact with their specific product. For corrosive products (for example SEA SALT) a special protection is available which is achieved by means of specific food-grade paint. This treatment must be requested before purchase and takes at least 10 days to make. The treatment (optional) is subject to wear and if it is damaged (for example the treatment takes a hit or is scratched off) it must be repeated. With salt, if no treatment is required, the steel could oxidize even if it is INOX.
