Thanks to large contact surface of water with smoke pipes, high operational safety and longer boiler life are guaranteed. The small water volume provides a better inside circulation and safe heat transfer with faster steam generation time. Increased strength and flexibility with corrugated furnace that is manufacturing by Eralp in 900°C degrees. In 3-pass Shell boiler design, the heat load of furnace is less than 1,2 MW/m. The result of this design is an ideal combustion with less NOx emissions, thus it causes lower fuel consumption. Further gains in efficiency can be obtained by using economizer for feeding water by preheating and air-heater for combustion air heating. The energy of flue gas can be recovered and the efficiency of boiler system is increased 5-8%. According to pressure of boiler, efficency increase up to %91. Eralp manufactured the highest efficent boiler (totally efficiency=%98,4) with two economisers which efficency tested and approved by Notify Body.

BORSIG has developed its own boiler design. This boiler design is suitable for all gasification processes. The waste heat boiler is designed as a fire-tube boiler. The hot synthesis gas enters the heating surfaces with a temperature of about 1,400 °C and is cooled down in these tubes to approximately 300 °C. The heat from the synthesis gas is used for generating saturated steam.

Most of the Europem incinerators are equipped with waste heat recovery systems. With steam production from 50 to 5.000 Kg/h. and thermal power from 38 kW to 3.793 kW. The RL is a horizontal fire-tube with three passes reverse flame steam boiler. The combustion chamber is completely cooled by boiler water.

With steam production from 2 t/h to 20 t/h and thermal power from 1,516 kW to 15,117 kW. The HH boiler is a steam boiler that is horizontal, fire-tube with three passes and steam chamber. The chamber is completely cooled by boiler water.

Choquenet offers the latest generation of carbonator boilers with richter tube technology. A traditional boiler must have a pumping system to allow the recycling of the gas and limed juice (at least 15 times the incoming flow) in order to obtain a homogeneous mixture. The Choquenet technology, on the other hand, makes it possible to obtain a homogeneous carbonated juice without a pumping system, but by simply injecting the CO2 internally via the richter tubes. In addition, the permanent cleaning system of the gas injection part avoids the recurrent opening of the boilers and thus limits production stoppages. Our technology allows a gain in productivity, a more homogeneous mixture for a better filterability, a lower consumption of reagents and thus to reduce the operating and maintenance costs.
