In the processing of blind rivets, the lever tool BZ 70 covers the range from 3.0 up to 6.0 mm (aluminum). The main focus of this type of tool is on an especially durable and robust construction for daily use in workshops or on construction sites. Supplied in an impact-resistant plastic case. The replacement nosepieces are stored in a locked box integrated in the mandrel container.

GESIPA® blind rivets are also available in colour to match the application. To guarantee the best possible durability the hollow rivets are painted using a two-component epoxy resin paint in a stow enamelling process. In addition to the visual benefi ts, the painted blind rivet also has added protection against corrosion. Aluminium blind rivets are best suited for this procedure. In the long-term they achieve the desired visual effect when joining coloured parts. GESIPA® blind rivets are available in the standard RAL colours. On request, steel blind rivets are also available in RAL colours or even special colours. Another method for colouring blind rivets and for protecting them against corrosion is to anodize them. The Eloxal method is more complex but is the most durable process for coloured blind rivets.

The PowerBird® Pro Gold Edition is even more powerful. Thanks to the brushless motor and the setting force of 20,000N, it is even able to set G-Bulb® and PolyGrip® blind rivets up to Ø 6.4 mm of all materials. In order to set particularly long rivets, the stroke has been increased by 25% to 25 mm. The lazy tong rivet tool BZ 58 can process blind rivets with a diameter up to 6.4 mm (aluminum) reliably and powerfully. Nose pieces for chancing are inserted directly in the tool and are so always accessible. The tool has a comfortable handle with which the force can be optimally implemented. A typical application is the processing of large amounts of blind rivets into floors.

Hammer stroke or drive rivets are set by driving the mandrel into the rivet body (e.g. by means of a hammer). This causes the lower end of the rivet body to expand and allows riveting components with openend boreholes and also riveting of blind-end boreholes.This riveting technology is suitable for the most diverse material combinations. For blind-end boreholes, a trial is necessary in order to establish the optimum rivet length based on the component characteristics and the firmness requirements.

With its compact design the tool sets blind rivet nuts up to M12. Furthermore the GBM 40-R has a great application access and low weight. The ratchet function provides a very good power transmission. The exchange of nosepiece and threaded mandrel is possible without any tool. Nosepiece and threaded mandrel are also compatible with the GBM 50.
