Joining tubes can be used to create a hybrid join between a full strand weave and the use of joining clips. A single strand is cut into smaller single space sections, which are woven into the belt and joined together by crimping a stainless steel joining tube onto the adjacent wire sections. This method maintains the belt strength of a full strand weave while eliminating the distortion that occurs during the weaving process. It is important to consider whether joining tubes could mark product or have hygiene implications when choosing this method.

Using EZ-Splice® belt joining strand during installation will dramatically extend your belt life! Belt installations that are rushed and improperly made are often the cause of belt breakage and downtime. EZ-Splice® is a pre-formed, pre-bent joining strand that requires no bending or weaving during installation. This helps to prevent any weak spots in the belt joint.

Belt clips are used for joining the belt during installation and for making fast minor repairs to the belt. They are available in one space and three space units. If you would like clips, these should be ordered at the same time you place your belt order.

The perforated metal planks, type BN-G33 “Noppe, geschlossen” has upwardly pressed closed nubs and provides a high slip resistance. BN-G33 is suitable for indoor in combination with BN-G33vi stairtreads. BN-G33 is suitable for areas where on the one hand a closed surface is desired and on the other hand a good accessibility must be guaranteed.

The perforated metal planks, type BN-O33 “Noppe, offen” combines top and bottom pressed nubs with a hole diameter of 8 mm: This provides excellent stability and drain holes for a good drainage effect. In combination with the profile BN-O33vi for steps with vi-nosing or the closed profile BN-G33 it results in many applications and variations.

The perforated metal plank type BZ-GP has been developed from our approved planking type BZ-GP. Because of the homogeneous surface it is easy to negotiate. Furthermore the free cross section of 70 % makes a high light permeability and sprinkler suitability possible. Therefore the profile is particularly suitable for suspended ceilings. There is no need for sprinkler systems below the suspended ceiling. Due to the high point loads, additional planking during the assembly or later is not necessary. Thus, an ideal smoke funnel, sprinkler suitability and efficiency are guaranteed.

The perforated metal plank type BN-OP5 “Noppe, offen plus, 5mm“ was especially developed for pedestrian areas with „High Heel Proof“ requirements. The bothsided punched holes have a diameter of 5mm. The punching sequence corresponds to BN-OP7. This type of planking offers high slip resistance and also allows ladies in stiletto heels to walk safely on the gratings. Due to the small hole configuration it is difficult to see through from underneath, which is important in public access areas. The perforated metal plank type BN-OP8, corresponds to type BN-OP5 in terms of the punching pattern, but have twice the number of holes. The drain holes have a diameter of 8 mm and thereby increase the drainage performance and light and air permeability..
