O - ring seal as flexible perfection To determine which O - ring can be used , only a few important operating parameters must be defined . The temperature , the pressure and the indication of the chemical resistance determines the selection of the correct O - ring at the right application. O - rings from Billi - seals are distinguished , depending on the material , by high thermal stability, good chemical resistance and good low temperature flexibility.

Rubber Seals - O ring

Manufacture of bespoke “O” rings specialising in silicones and fluorosilicones. Made from extruded sections cut to length and the two ends joined by vulcanisation to ensure a durable bond and maintaining the integrity of the seal. Sections and materials available are sponge, hollow tube, solid, D shape, rectangular etc. Rectangular picture frame gaskets with mitred corners can also be made in this way.

XXL O‑rings are typically used as static radial or static axial seals in mechanical, power plant, plant and heavy equipment engineering. The special stagevulcanization production technology is also suitable for single or small lot production of smaller O‑rings with a nonstandard inside diameter.

The encapsulated O‑ring widens the potential applications of the O‑ring. The core of the ring is made of silicone (VMQ) or fluoroelastomer (FKM). The plastic FEP (tetrafluoroethylenehexafluoropropylene) is used for the seamless encapsulation. The particular product advantage lies in the combination of the elasticity of the O‑ring and the chemical resistance of the fluoroplastic.
